What is your opinion on this topic? For me I think it's fact. In 20 years people will think of this gimmick more then they will of his matches in the early 2000's. I realize some people hate Matt Hardy, for me he was always super boring but his broken universe has changed that for me....Mind you, some of the stuff he's done with this gimmick is beyond stupid and I won't defend.

Also, Matt Hardy does fear Bart Gunn.

You're probably right.

He and Jeff as a Tag Team never appealed to me because they just looked and dressed like little pussies to me.

And now with Broken Matt, and his Community theater actor speaking pattern.

Yeah he pretty much goes down as a career long joke, and one of my more hated Wrestlers.

Well. The move is The Scorpion Death Lock and was even taught to Bret Hart as such, but nobody did it better than him.

The Rock's version was god awful. Nobody did it worse than him.

This is a direct quote from Bret Hart when he first started using The Sharpshooter "I was having a match, and I didn't really have a finish so I was trying to think of something unique, and I asked The Locker Room 'Hey, anybody know the Scorpion Death Lock', Konnan said "Yeah I know it" and he showed me how to do it"

So Bret Hart himself said that his move is just a version of The Scorpion Death Lock.

I will grant you that Bret does the move better though.
