Meltzer announced that Cody and a few others (not named yet) are signed to multi year deals. The Young Bucks are expected to finalize their contracts soon, as is Jericho. The promotion is funded by Tony Khan of the NFLs Jacksonville Jaguars. The promotion already has multiple TV offers and are currently looking for the best deal for them. It’s expected that the promotion will launch in September in a full time capacity.

Reportedly Britt Baker signed today with them. The Young Bucks, Brandi Rhodes and Adam Page also signed today earlier in the day.

With Omega and Jericho it will be very interesting to see what happens at Wrestle Kingdom with the fallout after.

There is currently internet speculation that Bill Goldberg is one of the major names that is in talks with All Elite Wrestling due to agent Barry Bloom rumored to be involved with the promotion. Several people have pointed out that Goldberg and the All In II: Double or Nothing Twitter accounts are following each other.

Boys....fasten your seatbelts. This is going to become huge and we are finally going to get a true alternative to Vince. If they can manange to steal a top talent from the WWE like DB, Styles, Naka or even Ziggler then you can bet that the promotion will soon be kicking the shit out of the WWE...especially if they land on TNT.

I read that Khan is the President and Cody and "The Young Bucks" are Executive Vice-Presidents, which means they'll run the day-to-day. If AEW gets major TV, North American pro wrestling immediately has a new number two promotion. We might see an viable alternative that actually pushes the WWE to rethink its creative. If AEW can draw at least 2s in the ratings after airing, Vince will have to take notice, as his product draws 3s.

Well the bidding war for talent is going to be very interesting in the coming months as AEW have said not only will they match whatever WWE is offering for money, but will give what Vince won't: creative freedom. Meaning the talents would have control over their characters & way they wrestle
